Hi, I'm the human behind Bone Garden.

Hi, my name is Naomi and I’m the human behind Bone Garden! I’ve loved taking pictures since I was young. At first, it was about keeping memories and being able to hold onto something beautiful a little longer. That never really went away, it just grew into something bigger. I’m drawn to nature, animals, mushrooms, bones, forests, and the things most people don’t always stop to notice. The outside world feels like our shared garden: old trees, stubborn moss, tiny mushrooms with entire hidden systems beneath the ground, animals moving through spaces we usually pass without thinking twice. That’s what I want my photography to do. I want it to make you curious. I want it to make you look closer. I want it to remind you that there’s an entire world happening around us, above us, beneath us, and long before or after we’re here. I like photographs that feel dramatic, moody, quiet, and a little wild. The kind that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a forest where everything slows down for a minute. Bone Garden is a place for all of it: life, death, and whatever comes before, between, and after. Animals, landscapes, fungi, bones, skulls, and the strange beauty that ties it all together. Photography is more than just a hobby to me. It’s part of who I am, and it’s something I’m proud of. I hope it becomes my work someday, but even if it never did, I’d still be out there taking pictures.
